My name is Matthew Exell - Dip CHyp, NLP Master Practitioner, MNCH, HPD. I am a qualified cognitive hypnotherapist, a master practitioner of neuro-linguistic programming and a life coach. I have practices in Reading, Berkshire and Wallingford, Oxfordshire.

My working background is as a psychiatric nurse I have spent 15 years working with people from all backgrounds with a variety of social, environmental and mental health issues.

I completed my training through the internationally renowned Quest Institute  trained by Trevor Silvester author of Wordweaving I and II. This training exceeds the National Occupational Standards set for hypnotherapy in the UK.

As a member of the National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH) I make a commitment to undergo regular professional development training, so you can be sure that I have access to the most up to date methods available. The NCH promote the highest standard of training and professional ethics amongst its members. The NCH itself is part of the UK Confederation of Hypnotherapy Organisations (UKCHO) which is the largest umbrella body for hypnotherapy in the UK.

I hold the hypnotherapy practitioner diploma (HPD) which is the first nationally accredited hypnotherapy qualification, awarded by the NCFE national awarding body. Further to this please be assured that we have full Public Liability insurance through Towergate Specialist Insurance.
