Hypnotherapy and emotions
Hypnotherapy and nlp can be highly effective with dealing with negative emotions such as guilt, fear, anger and jealousy. After identifying the emotion and what the emotion means to you we can then work together on finding the core issue and the trigger of the emotional response. By doing this we can work towards creating a positive self image, building self-esteem, confidence and awareness of the possible triggers.
Guilt
Guilt or feeling guilty is state in which one experiences conflict at having done something that one believes one should not have done (or conversely, having not done something one believes one should have done). It then gives way to a feeling that does not go away easily
Fear
Fear is an emotional response to tangible and realistic dangers, when on a scale it ranges from mild caution to extreme phobia and paranoia. It is at the extreme end of this scale when anxieties, depression and phobias come out that fear causes problems.
Anger
Anger is an emotional state that may range from minor irritation to intense rage it affects us physically as well as emotionally. In extreme cases this can lead to violence. Anger is rarely useful to us and this includes the harmful effects of suppression of anger which impact on us physically as well as emotionally.
Jealousy
Jealousy can be caused by insecurities and/or an over active imagination. When this happens it can damage relationships, lead to obsessive behaviours and can lead to anger and in extreme cases violence. It often starts when a person believes a valued relationship is being threatened by a rival, this rival may or may not know that he or she is perceived as a threat.
